Njideka Akunyili Crosby: I Refuse to be Invisible

This catalogue is the first publication to focus on the work of Nigerian-born, Los Angeles.-based artist Njideka Akunyili Crosby. It accompanied a 2016 exhibition of the artist's work held at the Norton Museum of Art.

Contents include Taiye Selasi's "Bye-Bye, Babar (Or: What Is An Afropolitan?)", an interview with the artist, chronology, select bibliography and exhibition history, and an introductory essay by Cheryl Brutvan, Director of Curatorial Affairs and Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Curator of Contemporary Art at the Norton.
